General Rules
  1. Continuance on the rolls of the school is subject to satisfactory progress in studies. Any Student who fails for the second consecutive year in the same class will not be permitted to continue in the school.
  2. Students must be regular and punctual in attendance. For leave of absence previous sanction is to be obtained from the Principal in writing.
  3. Leave of absence during the term will not be granted except under very special circumstances.
  4. Requests for leave on medical ground must be supported by a certificate of medical practitioner. In this case the application must be forwarded at least on the second day of the leave.
  5. Fee must be paid regularly. A student's name is liable to be struck off if the fees are in arrears at the end of the respective quarter.
  6. Students may be required to attend extra classes on any working day after school hours, or on holidays, provided they have been informed on the previous day. Students themselves must make the alternative arrangement for their conveyance etc. if necessary.
  7. Students will not be allowed to leave the school during the school hours. So parents are advised not to come with such requests.
  8. Students shall not be permitted to be absent from classes for the sake of celebrations and festivals.
  9. All students will have to take part in the extra - curricular activities, co-curricular activities, drill etc. No requests for exemption will be entertained.
  10. No Student is allowed to bring mobile phone, camera, radio or any other electronic item to the school without prior permission; if found in possession, they will be rusticated from the school without any prior notice.


Recommendations to the parents
  1. Parents are expected to co-operate with the school authorities by ensuring that the children observe punctuality, regularity and discipline, prepare their lessons and take an active part in the activities of the school.
  2. Private tuition is not encouraged. Instead, the parents are requested to give personal attention to the children and help them in their doubts as far as possible.
  3. Parents should check the school calendar regularly and sign any report recorded by the teachers, and the assignments and homework given.
  4. Parents/guardians are requested to be in constant touch with the school to have a clear knowledge of their ward's progress in studies. They must by all means attend the parent-teacher meeting to consult with the teachers regarding their children.
  5. Parents are not allowed to interview the teachers in the class room or in the staff -room. Those who wish to seek information or any suggestion may do it during the Parent- Teachers meeting. Those who wish to make any complaint about their children's education or other matters should do so to the Principal, and not to the class teacher.
  6. Parents/guardians shall not go to the class rooms during the school hours nor call them out of the class. In the case of any necessity they shall contact at the office.
  7. When a Student is likely to be absent owing to illness for a long period, the Principal must be informed through an application for leave supported by Medical Certificate within a week. Failure to do so will result in the child's name being removed from the school roll.
  8. The Principal or teacher may punish a pupil for habitual idleness, disobedience or misconduct, indiscipline, not preparing the lessons etc. by suspension or removal without assigning, any reason for the action.
  9. Criticism of teachers in presence of students must be avoided. In case of a legitimate complaint, the Principal must be contacted.
  10. Children must be trained in self-help by encouraging them to work and study. They should be taught to keep their rooms clean and tidy, make their own beds, polish their own shoes, carry their own bags, etc. The formation of such habits in early life will inculcate in them the dignity of work, a fundamental necessary for a successful career.
  11. The school authorities are not responsible for the safety of a Student after the school hours. Necessary arrangements must therefore be made to take the children home immediately after the class.
  12. The school accepts no responsibility if through failure in wearing school uniform, bringing books to class, getting the signature of the parents on remarks written by teachers or on the absence record in the Hand book or not paying the fees in time, the Student is obliged to return home during class hours.
  13. No school business will be transacted during the holidays or outside the school hours.
  14. The one who signs in the admission form of the Student will be responsible for the Student and is supposed to contact the school for the Parent-Teacher meeting or for any other purpose. If the Student does not reside with the parents, the parents will have to introduce the guardian or the person in Charge to the Principal. The school will not accept any other person to represent the guardian.


Recommendations to the students
  1. In your dress and behavior keep a sense of self - respect. Right behavior is the expression of fine character and a good personality.
  2. Be simple in your ways and words.
  3. Avoid using indecent language.
  4. COURTESY BEGETS COURTESY. Make use of words like 'please, thank you, excuse me, sorry, May I’ more often. If you have to criticize, do not be destructive, but be constructive.
  5. In all your dealings with others be polite and obliging. Always try to be a good companion to help others and hurt nobody.
  6. Respect your elders and teachers, whenever you meet them, greet them with respect and love.
  7. Be polite and helpful to the strangers coming to the school.
  8. English is the medium of communication in the school premises. Speak only in English during the school hours.
  9. Before and after every class stand up for prayer.
  10. No exemption shall be given from school programs and functions. Every Students are expected to take part and co-operate in the various school activities such as cultural program, sports, games, drill etc.
  11. Students are exhorted to make use of the Library and Reading Room. Books and periodicals must be carefully handled and kept neat and tidy.
  12. No literature of any kind which is not directly connected with the school curriculum should be brought to the school.
  13. It is the duty of the pupils to see that the school premises are kept clean & tidy
  14. Pupils are not allowed to:
    • Buy sweets and other eatables at the school gate.
    • Take private tuition in any subject from the members of the school staff.
    • Give gifts to the members of the staff.
    • Enter a class room other than their own without permission.
‘The principal reserves the right to waive any of the rules contained in this page without assigning any reason for his action and it will be binding on parents/ guardians and students.
